Where Rothe Engineering & Construction differs
from other engineering firms is that we can build what we design.
This benefits the consumer in a number of ways. We have
significant field experience and our designs reflect our knowledge
of construction. We design with the goal of creating something
that will function as it is supposed to but will be realistic in
scope and cost. Often the construction field and the
engineering field can be at odds. Contractors will say it
looks good on paper but it doesn’t make sense in the field.
Engineers will say if the contractor would just build it the way it
is shown on the plans there wouldn’t be any problem. We are
able to sidestep these potential conflicts which makes for a smooth
running and efficient project. Our experience as licensed
engineers enable us to effectively interact with building codes
enforcement officers because we are able to sign off on changes in
the field and have an extensive knowledge of the building codes.
Our construction division is unique as well in that we perform most
of the construction trades in house. Where most home builders
are essentially general contractors who subcontract out most of the
work on a project or specialize in only one area of construction
Rothe Engineering & Construction offers the following construction
trades in house:
1. Excavation – we have all
our own equipment including a bulldozer, skid steer, forklift, dump
truck and three excavators. This ensures that we can handle
any job on our schedule not someone else’s.
2. Carpentry – our five man
crew has decades of experience and has the following goals in mind –
to complete your project in a timely fashion, on budget and with
uncompromising quality.
3. Masonry – we offer the
finest masonry money can buy from poured walls, cutting edge energy
efficient insulated concrete forms, cultured stone veneers, to
fireplaces and more.
4. Heating and Cooling – we
often find our customers standing in the mechanical room staring at
the matrix of pipes. When we ask if everything is OK they
simply reply that they have never seen such care and craftsmanship.
We do not cut corners anywhere from top of the line equipment, to
the neatest solder joint you have ever seen, we guarantee you will
be impressed. We offer the latest in technology including
tank-less hot water heaters, geothermal heat, radiant heat and high
velocity forced air systems.
5. Electrical and
Plumbing – OK well we do subcontract out some things but we work
with these guys so often they are like part of the crew. We’re
sure you’ll like them too!
